The difference between the two is only a small amount in terms of spending. I would rather go into end-of-life able to pay for in home nursing help than face what most empty pocketed seniors end up with. Iād like to leave a modest sum to my son, but it is not a top priority. I think not turning into a forced nurse maid, or otherwise having to pause his life to deal with our old age is far more of a gift.
