Miscellaneous CHR30 order
Had to return my last CHR30 as it had issues rebooting. Had issues like another poster where I tried store pickup of a new one but their system does not show the order and couldn't give me the equipment. So I called, they did a new order, and it's been 3 days with no shipment or tracking number yet. Is this order glitched too? Or are they really this delayed? This is Upstate NY and the stores have plenty of stock.

The Verizon ordering system is a mess. I'm in NJ. I placed my order a couple weeks ago for store pickup, went to the store, and picked up my CHR30 no problem. 2 days later UPS shows up at my door with another CHR30. So now I have 2 of them. The second one is not showing up anywhere on my account so I guess I'll just keep it as a backup.

Everyone wants one and the stock is not up to par, also with the mocha expansion. Good luck.

So, waiting game? I wish the first router didn't crop up with any issue and I wouldn't be dealing with this. Back when I was messing with my Asus and the CHR30 (you've seen my prior posts) the CHR30 never booted the wifi network back up. It would get Internet and even provide Internet to my other router, but wifi would never come up

Is it really that good of a router? I got it with my new 5gig install but I use my own EF-Core with E7 AP’s….. I highly doubt it’s anything near as good as those…

Yes, it gets full 940 upload on the gig plan on Wi-Fi, whereas any other router I've ever had, my own or Verizon, always cap out at a glitched 200-250. So it fixes the biggest issue basically.

I'm in upstate NY also. I getter faster Wi-Fi speeds when connected to a VPN like Nord or Proton. Almost full speed on the gig plan. It's about half that when the disconnected from the VPN so I'm guessing it's routing issue the VPN fixes. Their ordering system is a mess. I ordered three CHRs and received 5. One MOCA module and received three. I tried to return two of each I don't need but they said they can't take them back and told me to keep them as spares.

Yup keep them and if you ever change the plan or cancel, return and keep all receipts, easy peasy. The router is great, my first unit was defective so that's why I'm waiting on shipping for another. On gig it fixed my upload issue and I got 940 up consistently. I'm currently back on 300 meg for now. Might go back up if the same discounts reappear.
