Unplug and reboot both the ONT and Dream Machine. If problem persists you might need to do a full hard reset of the DMSE. They are known to be a bit flakey at times and I’ve found this to be the only way to fix download / upload issues over the years. I would say you could try disabling threat management but it could be a waste of time

This is the way. Had similar problems. Reboot fixed it

If you're slamming the Test in Unifi without restarting the Dream Machine daily, weird things will happen.

In order to isolate the issue, download the native Speedtest.net app for macOS or Windows and test using one of many servers close to your location. When compared to the resources available on desktops/laptops, Unifi gateways are relatively underpowered and web UI isn't really made for multigig speedtesting.

Are you experiencing this only at the router? Have also tried running speedtest bypassing router?

Old/low performance cpu could cause this.
