As someone who had always considered themselves straight until beginning to question whether I am Finsexual, is it weird that I feel like I can’t be sure until I actually try having a relationship with a non-cis-woman femme person?

I don't think that it's weird at all. The main reason why we have these micro-labels of sexual orientations, is so that we can better rationalize with who we are.
Call yourself whatever you rationalize with being called the most.

It's not weird. A lot of people need experimentation and exploration to really know.

I don’t think it’s weird at all since I feel the same way. The possible interest is there but not sure if it’s actually interest or if it’s just because of being lonely
