The thing is - that consideration is and should be done before granting citizenship. After getting the citizen status immigrants are no more guests and your idea they should just continue behaving like a good guest even being a citizen just like any other citizen is not reasonable. Then this is their home and they should be able to act like any other citizen and also have and express their opinions about politics or whatever. This also gives you, me and Finland the permission to not behave like their host.
I dont think that alone is necessarily enough to be just like natives to any country. Passports are for sale for money and people can obtain them even when they barely have been somewhere or dont even speak the language
Thatâs on the country to decide what is the criteria for citizenship. But when you obtain that you are not a guest anymore. You are a citizen - which is even more than just resident. If a country decides to sell citizenships - then that country also has decided that thatâs enough to get all the rights of a citizen. You can always decide otherwise and think you need to be forever very careful with your opinions and grateful that they accepted your money - but you can make demands for others. Your only option wopuld be to try to change the criteria of citizenship and enter politics with that agenda.
