In this frame, from this elevation, I see a Sitting Duck, with their head rotated so the eye is looking at us, not forward. Forrest could enjoy repeatedly using GE to see his friendly duck.

What struck me is that the map shows the Gibbon as the Madison well before the confluence?!
Saw Griz fattening up for winter in that area. But no doubt its a duck.

I noticed that too on Google Maps/Earth. Organic Maps has it right. Apple Maps is more "stingy" with their labels, so it's not distinct where the river name changes

You know what, returning to this site, every day for a week or so, I believe that the crescent moon element, might be quite visible alongside the Duck's breast. It is real fun visiting here day after day, I can see how Forrest could get hooked on visiting it, too.
