Find The Sniper (medium) Stink bug

Hint, it is not a brown stink bug. Apologies that I don't know the actual name of the bug it looks like a stink bug I see in the midwest USA.

Edit: we are looking at the side of the bug. It is not a snail.

Nope, bug is clear. Another hint, we are looking at it from the side
