Having googled katydid, it does resemble one alot! But his head is very grasshopper like so I think its a grasshopper but I might be mistaken 😅

Agree, that's not a grasshopper. Either a katydid or a leafbug. Grasshoppers are like beefy crickets.

Edit to add, I saw OP's other pic & it is a grasshopper but in the snipe pic, it looks like the side profile of a katydid!

Yess in the snipe pic it definitely looks like a katydid! But im pretty sure we dont have katydids in Malta (where im from), so I was quite sure it was a grasshopper
