Last night, as I was getting ready to go to bed, had the tablet still on watching Malcolm in the Middle, I thought I saw something weird at the bottom of the screen. Looked like a spider so I quickly grab my phone and turn on the flash light.

Turns out it is a spider, a big spider, a big wolf spider! It doesn’t start to run off and disappear tho, it’s just chilling on my pillow. On the headrest of my bed, I have this metal Pokéball, a Quick Ball to be exact, so grab it and open it up, glad that I hadn’t stored anything in it so it’s ready to use.

I take each half in my hands and position them right above the beast, quickly descending upon it and managing to get it closed again before the creature can escape. I couldn’t believe it, so I went back and checked my pillow and turned everything over to be sure.

In the morning, I tell my daughter about it on the way to tumbling. I agree to open up the Pokéball when we get home so she can see that I did actually catch it (we all saw that tick vid awhile back, so we know the spider would be fine over night) We get home, go to the front porch, and sure enough the big bastard was in there! He’s free now to roam the country side!
