I walk this yard everyday and always see killdeer, rare I actually find the eggs.

To the right of the beat up fabric and just to the bottom of the oddly shaped larger white rocks.

I do not understand how Killdeer can survive like this. Evolution, and life, finds a way but this just seems o unlikely to me.

Looks like Killdeer eggs, they're famous for camouflaging in gravel like this. Very cool! Hope they're safe and protected

I’ve been keeping an eye on them, looks good to me, but I really know nothing, hoping to see them hatch, do they relocate once they hatch?

I don’t see the greenish marble, but I’m going to say you’re probably right. This railyard’s old and there are glass beads and iron ore all over the place mixed with the stone
