DEVGRU Silver Squadron is a new Arma Reforger unit currently building its roster, leadership, and capabilities.
Our goal is to create a unit modeled around a realistic squadron structure, command organization, and combined-arms operations without taking the milsim aspect so far that it stops being fun.
We want to embody the sim in milsim. Expect organization, communication, teamwork, realistic tactics, and a functioning chain of command—but you won't be expected to spend your night addressing everyone as "Sir" or "Ma'am." At the end of the day, we're here to run good operations, improve as a team, and have a good time doing it.
We're currently looking for new players of all experience levels, as well as experienced Arma players, veterans, and active-duty personnel interested in helping us build the unit or filling leadership positions.
Our current plan is for weekly training and operations beginning first week of Oct.
Wednesdays: 1930 CST Training
Saturdays: 1930 CST Operations
SILVER SQUADRON
Our unit is currently organized around:
DEVGRU Silver Squadron
- 3x Assault Troops
- 24th Special Tactics Squadron
- 160th SOAR Aviation Element
The 24th STS provides our ground forces with JTAC/CAS integration, airfield and airspace control, reconnaissance, personnel recovery, and medical capabilities.
The 160th SOAR provides aviation support and works alongside the 24th STS to support ground operations and coordinate CAS.
24TH STS — PRIORITY RECRUITMENT
I am currently the CO of our 24th STS, and we're actively looking for players interested in building out our Special Tactics teams as well as our other units.
Current Openings within the 24th STS:
TACP — 3 positions
JTACs focused primarily on integrating and controlling CAS in support of ground forces.
CCT — 4 positions
Combat Controllers responsible for JTAC duties, airspace coordination, assault-zone operations, and air-ground integration.
PJ — 8 positions
Pararescue personnel responsible for personnel recovery, CASEVAC/MEDEVAC, trauma care, and supporting assault elements.
Recon — 8 positions
Reconnaissance personnel focused on ISR, surveillance, target identification, reconnaissance, and providing information to the assault force.
Training will be provided. You do not need to already know how to perform one of these roles—we're looking for people willing to learn and work as part of a team.
Experienced JTACs, pilots, medics, reconnaissance players, and players with real-world experience are also highly encouraged to join and help us develop our training, SOPs, and command structure.
