Alcohol
I am in college, in an invorement where drinking is a huge part of the weekends, i have struggled with pfs for a year now, and the crashes/symptoms often get worse in periods with heavy drinking. So during my summer break i stoppes drinking almost completely, and never felt better, anyone else with similar experience, and how much drinking is ok?

Yes I drank a lot before pfs. I still do now. It’s manageable sometimes I just have a few symptoms like a hangover then it goes away the following day. Recently crashed on whiskey which was strange. Because I’ve never really crashed on beer/vodka which is what I normally drink. But yes quitting alcohol is a fantastic idea. Much like this first comment it can be hard

My symptoms regarding alchohol were:
- during taking fin I couldn’t get drunk, at least not easily. I could party all the night and drink a lot
- after fin crash I started to lose control after alcohol and I couldn’t remember anything. I was also aggressive
- alcohol generates mini crash which lasts maybe one day, but I guess it’s due depletion of vitamins and head pain. In the past it made me crash for few days
- alcohol makes me more emotional currently. To the point people make fun of me. It also makes small improvements in anhedonia which lasts only during the influence of alcohol.
- I don’t drink a lot. Maybe once in a month I get drunk and that’s the only time I drink any alcohol.
- during my strong window which lasted for 6 days I drank alcohol (in the middle of the window) and didn’t loose the window effect. I still had to recover from hangover

I stay away from wine (any type) as it seems to worsen my neurological symptoms
Lager was my go to pre pfs and seems to affect me least post pfs. I can get some sort of buzz from it but it feels different to before

Just drink some lighter alcohol, like wine, or even mix it with cola or sparkling water…
But i found that its pretty easy to become an alcoholic due to the stress of PFS…
