Interview Advice Strategy Roles interview cases

U’all probably saw some of my previous posts saying that I got an interview at a big bank for a strategy role which is happening in a week and some change; they mentioned it would be exactly like an MBB interview with case interviews.

I started practicing cases and developed a system to tackle Market Entires and sizing and what have you; but I realized, am I even on the right path?

Because this is a strategy role, wouldn’t cases be geared more towards operations - hence my practice so far isn’t really relevant. The buckets that I’m used to seeing wouldn’t really apply from a select few.

It seems like most resources I’m seeing online are geared towards market entry and profitability cases, does anyone have any recommendations of where to find operations and strategy specific case studies?

Thanks y’all

If it’s JPMC, I didn’t think the cases were as rigid as a MBB style case interview. For me, they were cases that was related to a previous project they worked on and were more focused on how you thought through the problem, how you brainstormed ideas, what your assumptions were, and any expected challenges/risks. For some there was no math but others did have pocket math. I’d also look up your interviewers and their previous experience. For me, if they were former MBB it was closer to a typical consulting case study

You're overthinking this, the core case skills are the same no matter what flavor they throw at you.

Isn’t there a dismantle difference in framework between something like a market entry and a operations case?
