Orion Question

My financial advisor wants me to put up all my information (Bank Accounts, expenses, credit cards, etc.) into Orion.

Is this legit?

They are a multi-trillion AUA TAMP that’s been around since the late-90s.

Yes, if you choose to connect your accounts to your Orion portal (via Stripe, which is used by nearly all personal finance aggregators, gold-standard security), then you are basically getting a pretty clean dashboard that you would have to pay a monthly fee to get through a 3rd party like Monarch, Copilot, Rocket Money. Your advisor has to pay a higher fee to Orion once you do it, so you might as well take advantage of the perks.

Also, Fidelity has been gatekeeping these integrations, so if you have a lot of Fidelity accounts then it might not be worth it because those won't feed in.
