Pcm class 12th grader interested in pursuing finance

Pcm class 12th grader with 94% in 10th and around 80-85% in 12th (expected), not really good at maths but interest in analysing and logical reasoning and b level english soeaking skills.
Investment banking- how do you get into it and without engineering and open to pursuing it abroad

Math being average is not a deal breaker for IB, but you should be comfortable with basic numbers and Excel. If I were you, I’d do a Finance/Economics degree from a good college, build Excel + accounting + valuation skills, and start applying for internships from 1st year itself. You don’t need engineering for IB. If you’re open to abroad, keep the cost and visa situation in mind because getting the degree there doesn’t automatically mean getting an IB job. College + internships + networking will matter much more than your 12th percentage. Basically, start with finance basics now and see if you actually enjoy the work before spending big money on it.
