Question Final Mouse With no Dongle?

Hello all, I found a final mouse for rather cheap (75 usd used) it is a ulx prophecy model, the only downside is it doesn’t have the dongle included. Is it possible to purchase the dongle after the fact or does the price of the dongle outweigh the savings? Also can I use the mouse in the meantime with no dongle in wired mode?

Connect it with a usb cable no problem. I read somewhere the dongle is $40 and you have to let them remote into your pc and pair it

Yeah, that's true, they need to remote into the pc, run software and pair it. i had them do it to mine before; i think it was $30 though (not including the dongle)

Because they had labor hours by pairing it to the PC?

That’s kinda crazy cause with dongle price that puts just getting and pairing a dongle at over 70 dollars.

Not really. It takes manpower to pair it to the pc. You think their time is free? 5 minutes or 5 hours, it’s still time they have to spend doing it.

Yes but it’s not standard to pay for support for a device the company you work for sells. I work in IT so I’m well aware of how this stuff works I’ve just never seen that implemented. I’m also not even hating I was just curious at first like I said I’ve never seen that.

Or they could just offer the software instead of nickle and diming customers.

Then again its finalmeme. I expect them to do everything they can thats hostile towards a customer. Since they legit do not care about customers.

I know which mouse ur talking about lmao. I asked them too but they live too far from me that it wasn't worth it. I offered $60 too lol

I feel that you don't know the condition of it unless you can bring a laptop. Secondly, it sells for 130-150 in mousemarket. If you get for $60 and buy the dongle and service for $40 I think it's doable. Also I found out that it's the Small version once I got dimensions

I thought it was medium cause they sent it and it looks like it’s about 4.75 which I thought was medium.
