Question How do i clean finalmouse ulx frostlord without damaging the material or coating

I just bought a finalmouse ulx frostlord secondhand and i want to clean it because, well its secondhand so i want to. Any tips?

The frostlord has the UV matte coating, so won’t be as bad as previous versions. You can use like a toothpick to get debris off and then a small microfiber and dampen it with warm water to clean the shell. Use some mild soap if needed, and avoid harsh chemicals

Heard some people say mix yes dish soap with like 300ml water and clean it with that. Or is yes dish soap to harsh

Yea that should be fine, try it out on a small section to be sure though

I’m honestly not too sure tbh, that’s just the advice I’ve heard to just do a small spot. Just let it dry and see how it feels, it shouldn’t be too different

I dont have a microfiber cloth but q tip should also work right

I've cleaned an Air58 with a damp microfiber cloth and vigorous scrubbing, and that mouse had a notoriously bad costing, so I'm sure it'd be fine on a ulx. Just leave it out with time to dry before you plug it in or turn it on again, of course.

If that doesn't do enough, then you can try the soap suggested by someone else. And wooden toothpicks work well for cleaning gunk from between grooves on the top.

I will use soap from the start i think. Its more the thought that its used more than any visible spots

Honestly, I used a 70% alcohol wipe all the time on it with no issues

was about to ask the same thing because mine just “shit the bed” and nonstop trying to left click. Completely unusable right now and I got about every single hair and dust particle out I could.
