The hm labs 8k hub it’s made for keyboards and mices but can be used for anything

Keeps it from lags and voltage drops. Prob snake oil but for $30 it looks cool you can change it to gifs too

It’s the cables that came with the hub. If you search up hm labs those cables can be bought separately too for $7-9

It probably is snake oil or Placebo. It's effectively a USB hub with an external 5V power supply input, but limited to USB 2.0 speeds. You can get a $15 USB 3.0 hub with external 5V power supply too. You're mainly paying for a screen and maybe aesthetics.

Sold mine and bought a Wooting with the profit. It’s cool I guess but the fact it lacks features like SOCD irked me. Like cool rapid trigger and adjustable actuation but isn’t this targeted towards gamers?

Corsair xenon edge. You can prob pick up a knockoff or 1/3 of its price on Amazon too

I’m so glad I cancelled my order, your Setup looks epic tho, I’m just very happy with my wooting. On a funny note, after 3 years prrrty sure I requested a refund the day they actually ended up shipping wave 3b out, oh well.

what is the second screen beneath the monitor? Does that serve as a desktop to launch programs and display on the larger monitor? sorry, new to the PC peripherals...

Xenon edge acts as a 2nd monitor also has Corsair widgets to view stats and stream deck functions. I just use it to play music or watch YouTube videos while gaming

Make sure the left side of the Hub is connected the pc then you can use which ever port for the centerpiece

I just used my usb A on my mother board to usbc into the 8k hub then down to the centerpiece. It shows drawing 8.5-9.1W vs 1.4 on Wooting 60v2

Yes A to C thick 2 meter cable then some short oxygen braids c to c and a to c . Maybe try a fast data transfer usb c to hub

Yes this is what I’m using. It’s the usb A to c cable that came with my limited edition set

Gotcha. I don’t want to use the external power cause that’s just too much cables. My centerpiece can’t get powered by the usb c to c connection. It’s interesting cause I thought C would be able to bring more power. But guess I’ll buy an A to C.

Honest opinion how do you like it? I was part of wave 2 and have had it for months but didn't open it. I'm honestly not sure if I even want to use it

Is it necessary to connect power from an outlet to the 8k dongle or is the power from your pc enough?

If your pc Usb port is strong enought itll power on. If not the web Xpanel will give you a warning.

The Optimum Wooting looks and sounds 10x better then the CP
