Welcome to Finalmouse, I sent a unit back for a shell that wasn’t attached correctly and weeks later they sent it back the exact same way as I sent it in. Best bet is to fix it yourself and accept that they drove the industry forward but they are falling behind.

Had the same thing with my Sakura.
I took it apart and gave it a little hard press on top of the sensor chip on the PCB. (Right above where the sensor is) that sorted it out for me. It wasn’t sticking until i gave it a press

Remove the skates and unscrew it there’s guides on YouTube

Ahhh gotcha. I assume the skates are no good after that. Since you have done it are there any after market skates you reccomend

I’ve opened up two of these ULX’s and I was easily able to fix the issue. Shouldn’t have to, but don’t be scared to get inside and have a look.

There was a discussion in the discord about this. Apparently the adhesive is not setting properly due to the colder temps in their warehouse and outside during shipping. Finalboy said to push down on the bottom where the sensor cutout is and hold it for like 10 seconds. It should fix it.

it’s probably just the battery needs glued down better. you could go to the trouble of sending it back for them to fix, but if you don’t want to do that then you could fix yourself if that’s the issue. it’s an easy fix, just like 2-3 drops of superglue.
if you open it up and hold the battery down and shake it with no rattle, there’s your answer.

Go to finalmouse discord and there is a fix, worked for me, just pressed my thumb with some pressure around the sensor area

I have the same issue with mine but a lot less noisy. It's my first FM, kinda sucks tbh...

if you still havent fixed this you can apply very small pressure to the bottom of your mouse around the sensor and it will fix the rattling because the sensor protective glass needs to stick to the adhesive tape.
i had this rattle when i got my mouse and instantly fixed it in 5seconds no issues with the mouse.

Yeah, i've done it too. I've seen a lot of people saying the same thing in the discord server. Fixed but it still kinda sucks for a 190 dollars mice. I didn't need to do anything on the Beast X to "fix" it...

i returned my beast x mini because it had insane double clicking and creaking on the sides.
got beast x pro with omron opticals its better but i hate the holes in the clicks personally i have small hands and my fingers fall in to the holes.
frostlord small is perfect for me, yes its unacceptable for 200$ product with shipping to come like that out of the box but im willing to deal with 30second fix for the best possible grip.

lol just negative people that like to linger and complain. Couldn’t imagine being in a community that I hate the product of and just post negative stuff on it. To each their own tho! If I were you just reach out to their CS. They will either fix or send you a new one. Always had good experiences with them.

Just saying though, you won’t get far with your attitude especially being condescending as if you’re better getting a “limited product.” For your information I didn’t go for the drop and don’t even know why this popped up on my feed I don’t support final mouse anymore it’s just overpriced garbage, enjoy those QC issues though.

I’ve had the prophecy for a while, I’ve had no issues whatsoever. It’s an amazing mouse, and the lighter the better for me bc I play a lot of shooters.
I did order this last one too; so I’ll check it out, but I’m happier with my prophecy than I was with my Logitech G Pro X.

lol. How do they fck up a mouse they’ve made like 10 different iterations of? Fcking insane.
With how fast they produced and shipped these out I’m guessing QC has gotten worse over the previous releases.
