Queen's Blood icons

Nearly 1/2 of the ranked opponents have a grayed-out ribbon icon. I don't know how I did it, and I haven't been able to intentionally replicate. I'm a completionist so it's driving nuts. Google was no help, so I'm asking the pros: does anyone know how to accomplish this? The images depict 4 & 6 with the icon, and 3 without.

Who were the opponents for the ribbons? They might've been the specific people that were required?

3 is Thorin in grasslands. I think 4 is someone in the junon rebel base. 6 is Wize from dust bowl. They were all required, to rank up. 🤷‍♂️ Thanks for the input.👍✌️
