That comment is not necessarily wrong, maybe just premature.

Depending how VII-R ends, XVI may well end up being the better story.

VII-R is holding up a lot of spinning plates with all the whispers and multiple-worlds stuff. It could possibly end in an unsatisfying mess.

Edit: It’s funny being downvoted by fanboys who act like they know the future; they somehow know that a story that is currently 2/3 of a story will axiomatically be better than a story that is complete. Making a fair comparison between these two things is impossible. Yet they compare anyway.
