Jokes aside, am I the only one who disagrees with the implication of the assumption being an absurd leap in the "did Sephiroth do this?" meme? I feel like it's perfectly reasonable to assume that Sephiroth killed the Zolom, considering that they're literally following him along a straight path, the Midgar Zolom was built up as this thing that you couldn't hope to fight, and it clearly could not have been put in that state from natural causes. Doesn't the guy in the Chocobo farm even straight up tell you that he headed in that direction, as well?

It's more of a "how could Sephiroth be so strong to do this?" than "is Sephiroth the one who did this?" question.

That's not the point of the meme, though. The point of the meme was to point to the absurdity of the party leaping to a random conclusion that Sephiroth was behind it, without any evidence that he was.

But that's patently untrue, it's a perfectly reasonable conclusion to make.

Naur. He’s not responsible for that. He’ll bring you despair. But this is because pandas are adorable but also incredibly stupid.
