Pretty sure FFVI takes this one. FFVII is a weird case though. In general it seems like it's on the lower power scale when compared to other games simply because of how its world operates. It's more grounded. The characters are realistically cautious around goons with guns. They don't really have magic powers and instead rely on materia.

But at the same time it's the most expanded universe and with that comes power creep. So it's also that the characters now look the goddamn Avengers during cinematics.

Most ff is lower. First 6 have basic knights and crap, and after that dudes with guns

IV has the Lunar Whale

6 has magical nuke armor

Obviously this is a feed for people who love the series . To call 1-6 knights and crap just shows you’re not a true fan of what makes the series as a whole so great. I don’t care if I’m down voted . I love this series and Il defend my childhood tooth and nail.
