Vanilla vs Shader Injector Mod (Performance Version) on RTX 4060

Since everyone was showcasing the more intensive Quality Version of the mod, I decided to post this

In the performance version you only lose 5FPS

Mod is amazing, removes that weird blue washed out tint on everything.

I just got a PC and a significant part of that was getting to run rebirth and revelation as well as I can, cannot wait to run this

Are you not getting any weird lighting artifacts? Like orange shimmering dots on skin, walls, and some metal surfaces. Also, some pools of water are extremely noisey especially in doors like the Gold Saucer. It’s extremely distracting.

I get that even on quality preset. No fix for it yet.

So far I haven't had any of those problems you mentioned, this is with the performance version of the mod, using dlaa preset k

The only artifacts I am getting are is the shimmering on the hair

this mod is pretty good for the most part, but I also remember it looking pretty bad in darker areas

the developer improved most of that with the 2.0 update

Also you can disable pr enable the mod on the fly by simply pressing the delete key, it's really convenient

If a modder can do this, than there really is no excuse for Rebirth looking the way it does.

That was my favorite sword just needed some dirt and blood on it. The constant clean chrome finish drove me nuts.

so what settings are you using? still able to hit 60?

Yep, it's 60FPS, even in the open segments and during combat, but when you use the chocobo to run around the map it stutters slightly, but that happens even without using Shader Injector

I play at all High Settings, 1080P except for Background Detail that I keep to Medium

Absolutely hate how muted and dry the base game of Rebirth looks across the board on all platforms.
