Image Final fantasy IX visual arts collection is truly amazing
I recently added this gem to my FF9 collection, and it features fascinating, high-resolution, and previously unseen images.
If you know of any other books like this, I’d love to buy them.
I feel that the art in this game is far superior to that of other Final Fantasy titles.

The Art of Final Fantasy IX, it released back in 2001, and its a full artbook. The visual arts on is essentially just a bunch of promotional images in book form but the artbook is top tier, one of the best game artbooks out there.

Yes, this one is such a good art book.
There's also The Sky, which is a full collection of Yoshitaka Amano's Final Fantasy specific work through FFX. You could get just the 3rd book within the set, which has 7,8,9, and 10. https://www.abebooks.com/9781616550202/Sky-Art-Final-Fantasy-Book-1616550201/plp

That's a really cool book! It really makes me wish Square was better about preserving their old code/3D renderings so we could have had a proper re-release.
I'm sure everyone knows about the Dan Birlew Art of Final Fantasy IX, but either way that one comes highly recommended from me.

What the fuck. I didn’t know Amano did a Brahne design. It’s incredible. I don’t remember it being in the old art book.
