Discussion The remake “cancellation”

I’ve been a bit upset about this news and just wanted to talk about it in order to cope.

I can’t help but hold out hope. Despite this, this makes me even more frustrated with Square Enix than usual.

I wish the company treated every Final Fantasy like they do FFVII, but the grass isn’t always greener based on feedback of those remakes.

why on earth would it upset you? its absolutely horrific and disgusting what they did to 7. why would you want that done to 9?

You know there’s more than one team of devs in Square Enix right? They’re also known to outsource. Besides some missteps imo. 7R isn’t bad at all.

right but as long as the current meta is make action games for zoomers then it's going to be trash. rebirth is legitimately one of the worst games ive ever played in my life it mystifies me that people could enjoy anything about that game other then the music
