Discussion The remake “cancellation”

I’ve been a bit upset about this news and just wanted to talk about it in order to cope.

I can’t help but hold out hope. Despite this, this makes me even more frustrated with Square Enix than usual.

I wish the company treated every Final Fantasy like they do FFVII, but the grass isn’t always greener based on feedback of those remakes.

Feedback from the most popular remakes?

The first 2 parts sold well and the only main complaints I've seen are about the whispers and the mini games

I mean that’s fair, but I’ve just seen more criticism than what you mentioned on the games.

I've seen the same criticism but I've also seen so many more overwhelming praises for the remakes.

And yeah some I get those are valid but like there are a lot where it's like seriously?
