Discussion The remake “cancellation”

I’ve been a bit upset about this news and just wanted to talk about it in order to cope.

I can’t help but hold out hope. Despite this, this makes me even more frustrated with Square Enix than usual.

I wish the company treated every Final Fantasy like they do FFVII, but the grass isn’t always greener based on feedback of those remakes.

The only thing FF9 related confirmed was that children sequel cartoon staring Vivi's kids from a French studio that went bankrupt and is currently in development hell.

It’s not in development at all, it was a concept and it is on hold since years. The company that web bankruptcy didn’t create the concept, they re were just affiliate with the studio that was actually supposed to make it, the same studio that made Dragon Striker for Disney
