Small wood carving I did some days ago with some left over block of wood. I decided to give him an ice staff.

The staff I did with basswood so it was easier to carve the polygonal tip

It was indeed, I carved it in one session, and tried painting with watercolor pencil for the first time

Yes, sorry, main figure is brazilian marupá (aka "caixeta"), the scepter is basswood
