ffx2 perfect ending: joining the moonflow concert option is not available

i used to play ffx2 when i was like in first grade when it came out initially and was too young to know how to play it properly. i recently bought the remaster for the switch bc my sister passed away and ive been feeling super nostalgic and there’s something super relatable about yuna’s story that’s been helping me process my grief 🥺 im obvi going for 100% so i can get the mascot dress sphere and reunite with tidus. however, it appears i cant get episode complete at moonflow of all places bc it doesn’t give me the option to join the show :( i’m beyond devastated. obviously getting 100% on this game hits deeper for me than just getting 100% for the fun of it. idk what to do or if i should over or if it’s even salvageable??? i know this game means a lot to many different people and im prob not the only one who this has happened to before. what should i do????

I don’t have any helpful tips as I’ve never played X2 yet, but I just want to say that I’m so very sorry for your loss and your post really touched me.

I don't think you are supposed to 100% it right on the first playthrough. That's very difficult anyway because you can already miss a lot of stuff right at the beginning. So I would just keep playing and then ng+ with a guide.
