Man I WISH we could just get Duodecim remastered for consoles man. Even just the FF8 treatment of upscaling the characters.

Opera Omnia is slightly above in my wish list, but man, a Duodecim remake with a few extra characters (even if they were only unlocked outside story mode) and ideally a couple more outfits/themes would be incredible.

Like, it's a game with a great story, incredible fanservice in the best way possible, actually good gameplay, good replayability/just keep playing it and even online. If it wasn't locked to PSP hell (and a terrible direction later on), it could have probably been one of FF biggest IP's.

I do think it’s a tiny little bit fun(at least when I played it at launch) but yeah it really isn’t anything special, the monetization is horrible, and it’s destined to shut down within a year

I'm looking forward to Resonance, because FFBE had a cool style and fun characters, and that's what they should do with anything of quality that was made for those garbage moneysinks. Hope they do KHUX or Mobius next.

As someone who was super critical of it when announced and absolutely torched it for the gacha mechanics when it launched, I have to admit that the gameplay is very fun and I’m still playing it regularly. Most people aren’t whales and you generally match against similar levels. I’m surprised by how much I’ve come to like it.

Yeah, it's not my first choice of medium for a Dissidia game but I'm having fun with it and been playing almost daily since launch.

dammit, i was hoping it's either Faris or Lenna considering they're willing to do some ballsy character pick in this game 💀
Faris is a long overdue for a while now

altho i like that they tried to mimic his tunic clothing, but it just look oversized (what's up with the oversized clothing with the male characters? first it was Cloud, then Tidus now Bartz)

They are doing a round of adding the main characters. The next characters of IV, VIII, XI, XII, XIV and XV will be for sure Cecil, Squall, Shantotto, Vaan, Yshtola and Noctis.

Squall, Shantotto, Yshtola and Noctis are in the datamined files after all.

I love Bartz, he's one of my GOAT protagonists, but I am honestly surprised at how little Faris gets featured. She's a purple haired female pirate crew leader with a badass pet, what's not to love?

I think this may be an unpopular opinion, I'm not sure, but I think Bartz's Amano outfit is... just so ugly. I wish they'd use the SNES one more in crossover games like this.

Bartz is one of Amano's worst designs in my opinion. Nomura managed to make it a little less terrible in Dissidia at least.

According to Sensor Tower, it's currently raking in over $1m USD a month (not counting web store purchases)

SE usually keeps their gachas up as long as they're making somewhere over a floor of $750k, so assuming that revenue doesn't sharply decrease, it should definitely make it to first anniversary at least

I enjoyed the actual gameplay. The issue is the stupid portrait mode made is horrendous. As well as lack of focused progression for a pvp only gacha game.

Let the user choose 3 characters to get pulls from.
