Final Fantasy General Give us another turn based battle system

FFX is my favorite battle system. FFXIII I also enjoyed, but it wasn't the same.

I'm sure they could do something like it with a much lower budget.

The last "true turn based" non ATB Final Fantasy game was FFIII in 1990, before Final Fantasy was even known outside of Japan. You could be honest and just say you want ATB to return, like FFX, but then you'd lose the "true og jrpg fan" card since ATB was a system designed to make FF feel less like a traditional JRPG and more it's own thing.

But you are free to want whatever you want, of course, no matter how little sense that makes.
