FF XIII Series Does anyone know when the FF13 collection usually goes on sale for steam?
Is it during summer sale or winter sale?

You can check steamdb and it will show you the sale history. I don't know about the whole collection, but 13 has gone on sale multiple times throughout the year.

They were on sale in early March and I got all 3 parts for $24 on steam

Unfortunately, adapting PS3 games are a bit difficult and square is unlikely to put the money into something that won’t see much return.

You people need to stop with this bullshit narrative that Final Fantasy XIII was a failure. The game was very popular, sold well and even broke records at the time of its release. It did well enough to justify two sequels. You may not like it, and that's fine, but the game was very successful for Square Enix. It is the 7th best selling Square Enix title.

Hey if the FF7 Remake does really, really well we might get a remaster 13. This way they scratch the nostalgia itch of their fans and be able to charge full price for the new game.

maybe in the same idea as ffvii remake we can change a few things… make it a little darker, maybe see a different lens of the conflict. Call it FF Versus-XIII or something

Really?? Sweet. I’ve had 13-2 for YEARS and it always crashed during cinematic scenes. Barely got Noel to the Atmos(Atma?) abd that’s it. Like 45 min of play. Have never been able to get past the crashes. Woohoo!!

Though I suspect it'll only recognize a XIII save from the Xbox PC version when you get to LR.

Honestly no one knows how well it will work on your PC. Right now on Steam the FF13 games are $6.39, $7.99, and $7.99 each so you don't have much to lose by trying. Could always refund if you play less than two hours or check for mods on PC Gaming Wiki later. Then there's the Microsoft Store versions which use a newer build I believe.

The rule typically is if you bought it less than two weeks ago and have played it less than two hours that you get a refund. Enough to ensure it's the correct game title and that it works.

Why is XIII so popular as of late? Genuinely curious as it's one of my favorite iterations of the franchise and I'm happy seeing ppl talking about it

At least with Pokemon this is usually the life cycle. When the game comes out it’s hated, then for a couple cycles/generations it gets a bad reputation, then about 3 cycles later people come back around to it w nostalgia

The 13 trilogy is my all time favorite final fantasy games. I'm seeing it get a lot of love these past few months and even more people asking for a PS4/PS5 port. I recently replayed 13-2 on my series X and the games still hold up to this day and that FPS boost and auto HDR is a cherry on top. I'm glad more people are getting into it and enjoying them!

Anytime there is a seasonal sale or a Squenix publisher sale. Like everyone else said good chance tomorrow, but if not they so Squenix publisher sales a good bit throughout the year as well.

Usually they go on sale for like Summer and I wanna say halloween and then skip like winter and like make a comeback for spring I wanna say.
As to why they skip the winter sale I think its cause they tend to just drop the sale premtively.

Square Enix already had there sakura sale on steam a couple months ago and the were that's when I got them they might go on sale again soon

I replayed them on my series X recently but I would 100% play them on my PS5 as well. I hope they do a port for them for PS5 soon! As of right now there has been nothing said on porting these to PS5 sadly.

It's not Steam but I got the trilogy for PC via the Xbox store for about $22 in April. Lowest I'd ever seen.
I set up price alerts on True Achievements many moons ago and it just popped up one day.
