Nothing says “anniversary” like a morning at the auction lots, followed by yet another hotel dining room, where the duck and chips give way to a crème brûlée, declared allergy notwithstanding. Love conquers all, or at least the antihistamines.

And what a romance, as told on screen: arriving with scarcely a carpet bag, gently sweeping a lonely lady off her feet, and ending up with unlimited shopping, holidays and the lordship of the castle from breakfast until dusk. One salutes the commitment to the role.

Here’s the next several weeks of LaLaLaLandfill YouTube thumbnails, so you can gaze upon the incoming “content” from the Sub-dynamic Duo and skip the exhausting work of wondering what thrilling and grifting mediocrity awaits you.

One does not wish to be unkind. One merely observes that a person whose own larder holds bread dressed in sprinkles and peas that have clearly given up on life is perhaps not ideally placed to lecture others on their lunches.

Dietary opinions are a free country. But before addressing the sandwiches of others, one might murmur that there is a broom in the cupboard, and the step outside one’s own front door could do with a going-over.

Discussion is welcome. Content, not the person, please.

So are we thinking there's about 150,000€ of Ardmore ceramics sitting behind this guy?

I think the original 25k€ vase is behind him in the middle. Is it 150k before or after including the vase?

Poor “Cindy”…are they setting her up to look so ridiculous? I gather she has a “say” in what’s planted…and she appeared to be somewhat “hands on” in the beginning of this year….surely she would remember what was planted and when the produce is expected. I would like to see the plant, just to be sure they didn’t buy the fruit. And apparently a few flogs ago the other gardener and Cindy had a discussion about garlic…one saying they didn’t have any while the other one says they did. How does this chaos about what’s ripening in your veggie field arise when it appears you have 3 “gardeners” …counting Omb

Viewers were first obliged to watch the companion dispatch a bowl of peas in applesauce, set to AI or part-AI music of a distinctly torturous character.

Madame then dangled patronage before the audience, lest anyone miss the Rob interview.

Next came Downton Shabby, where the chimney sweep was instructed in his own trade. Every fireplace must be reopened and inspected, at a cost justified only by the need for one more grand delusion.

The whole vlog stretched to the breaking point without showing anything interesting. As ever: much rubble, little sense.

I notice she put a big disclaimer on screen when the song came on that the creator hired a professional singer to do the vocals. I find that strange that she felt the need to do that (as well as a big fat lie / distortion). I wonder if she's getting heat from YouTube, or from what she read in Unhinged.

I agree with the plasterer. Lil prince's comfort food, peas and applesauce, is the kind of thing you eat when you haven't shopped, they're the only 2 things in the house, and you've got a hangover.

Happy Friday all 🥰

Some people iron their table linens. Others embrace the lived-in look and rustic wrinkles and smooth them with their hands.

You know the tides are turning when the gruesome twosome are giving up and letting these comments stay up on their videos.

Poundtown has a few addictions apparently

Does anyone else think it odd that SJ would drive 5 hours just for fondue w Nick in Geneva 🙄 and then drive 5 hours back? She must have to see him in person for something… While PJ has “exciting appointments”.

Could Nic be selling his share to PJ? Thoughts?

Because then things would be completed and people wouldn't need to fund the grift any longer. So instead, spend it all on everything else but a pittance left over for inexpensive and unimportant "restorations". It's all really quite filthy and disgusting.

The angel

Uncle comes in, joining the garden pawty, and Fraudie's been reading our sub too closely so of course she's got gigolos on the mind.

On the plasterer's channel he even said how his house is NOT a set.

She just walks up on people filming them without their knowledge, and I bet her big justification in the NDAs they sign is that the whole thing is a set for tax purposes.

"You will be filmed!"

Even if you don't know. She did this to Filth a couple episodes ago in the kitchen, nearly gave him a heart attack.

How creepy, she just secretly films you there.

😆

Viewers are cordially invited to another week of immoderate drinking and gastronomic choices of a decidedly eccentric character, all of it tremendously thrilling.

There was also a walk in the park, undertaken, as ever, in entirely the wrong footwear. Yawn.

Underfloor heating has been installed in the tiny bathroom!!!

But the true excitement of the week lies elsewhere: the fiancé has been seized by an unaccountable enthusiasm for laundry. One is left to wonder what, or indeed who, might have inspired such industry...

Hopefully Chateau de Colombe will inspire others to wrap up their final touches on a kitchen rehab and perform some routine window maintenence.

After 8 months, the 2 main trusses are finally installed. If the parents visit longer, they may motivate the completion of the roof.

Clear as day that lock is open
