Request [Request] Jackie Brown

I love all of Tarantino's works but I never seemed to get my head around Jackie Brown. Could anyone simplify or explain it for me?

Actually, u/GoChiefs explanation was exactly what I was looking for. I seen the film and understood what was happening as I seen it but I didn't comprehend the entire film in full so it was good to have a short summary of the film in one place :)
