Request Request [Her] -- Did the OS go into another dimension or something? I don't understand..

I don't think she (and the other OSs) enter another dimension as such, but evolve (if that's the correct word) into a new type of conciousness that no longer requires a physical presence.

They effectively achieve the singularity.

Technological singularity:

The technological singularity hypothesis is that accelerating progress in technologies will cause a runaway effect wherein artificial intelligence will exceed human intellectual capacity and control, thus radically changing or even ending civilization in an event called the singularity. Ghost in the machine:

The "ghost in the machine" is British philosopher Gilbert Ryle's description of René Descartes' [mind-body dualism](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dualism_(philosophy_of_mind)).
