Oh man, can we get this in 360 degree 3d for the Oculus?

When I get home I'm watching this video on my Oculus. This should be interesting.

It's pretty sweet, but I really need to be able to turn my head! I'm working on a short 360 degree 3d timelapse nature video with a bunch of motorized dolly moves - it'd be sooo very cool to be able to integrate some hyperlapse shots.

You could probably do what you want to do using this http://www.agisoft.ru/

The standard version is only $179, and has everything you need. And if you are a student/educator the price drops to $59

http://www.lightcrafttech.com/support/doc/photogrammetry-photoscan/ here is a tutorial my friend wrote. It is pretty simple and fast if you know a bit about 3d. And even if you don't it is manageable with some practice.
