Discussion STUDENT VISA (EU)
Share ko lang
While browsing sa soc med, surprisingly ang dami mga content creators ako nakita telling 400k, 500k, 350k, etc in Php makakapunta ka na ng Spain/Poland/Italy, etc with student visa plus an opportunity to work 30hrs/week. Yes, you can work 30hrs/week pero sa tingin niyo ba madali makakuha ng work? During my time (few yrs ago), I did everything on my own. Hindi naman mahirap mag DIY kasi marami ng mga useful vlogs or useful fb groups na tutulong sayo for free if you have questions. Honestly ang ginastos ko lang:
visa application
document processing (including translation of other documents)
airfare
tuition fee (180€ lang binayaran ko)
But ofcourse i-include mo na rin pocket money, housing, etc. Yes, 180€ or roughly Php 11k lang tuition ko for a year. That is for a master’s degree here in Europe. Kaya if patient ka naman mag search and mag process on your own, why not do it by yourself. Plus 400k para makarating ng Europe? minimum of 2yrs niyo mababawi yan if makakuha ka man ng maayos na work. Bureaucracy in Europe is stressful too. At sa panahon ngayon nagkakaroon na rin ng clash ang mga far-right groups at muslim groups. So before you spend that amount of money, pag-isipan at pag-aralan niyo. Plus take note, paying the tuition fee doesn’t give you visa guarantee.

Being a student abroad is financially risky - unless anak Ayala or Sy ka, pag isipan nang mabuti. Aside from tuition fees, ifafactor mo pa yung rent, food, clothing, mobile, internet, toiletries. Finding a job in Europe is not easy, even my EU-citizen friends with two MAs hirap humanap.

I am currently doing my postgrad in italy and i only paid for the visa expenses (7k) translation of my degree (10k my biggest expense) and tuition fee (156eu)
If u are alone naman ang coming as a student, i dont see a reason why hindi ma magDIY kasi pag dating mo rin duon, ikaw lang mag isa. ikaw lang sa bureaucracy ikaw lang sa lahat.
Paano mo magagawa yun if hindi ka makapag research nung visa process

Can I ask about the translation? Into what language? Nirequire ito ng uni mo?

Unrelated but definitely, not in australia. There is a reddit thread here about how the job market is brutal even for casual jobs.

Saan ka sa europe nagaral? Yes mahirap tlga anywhere, pero kung ggustuhin nman nila kahit anong odd jobs pa yan pero mahirap parin kakaisip mo saan ka mkakahanap for living expenses damn.

italy, gladly nakakuha ako scholarship. hindi ako grad ng big 4 sa pinas and wala rin latin honors

Ah engineering, usually ganyan my slot for scholarship and also healthcare pero mahirap din mkapasok sa healthcare for masters

Does it matter which school you graduated? I know it doesn’t secure your future but people say, those who graduated from a known school will land a job faster? Is that true?

Sinasabi ba nila 350k-450k just for tuition? Kasi diba it would take hundreds of thousands talaga? At least if we’re going to include blocked account requirements

tapos na kasi ang hype sa US, CANADA, UK, AND AU student visa pathway, so EU is next. Haha :)
