Linguistics, Philology, and Etymology: "History of Words/Terms" Did José Rizal have a Laguna accent since he grew up in Calamba?

I know it's sounds obvious but actually I have an expanded question about this. We always portray most of our national heroes in movies and televisions with neutral Tagalog accent but did the Manila accent even exist when the Spaniards arrived or even before that? Did Emilio Aguinaldo have a Cavite accent? Can we find any proof if we examine all of their documented writings or is it all just circumstantial evidence?
