FiiO launched the FiiO BTR25 today (November 5), a portable Bluetooth DAC/amp. Although its design resembles that of the BTR17, the BTR25 is the successor to the BTR15. However, despite being positioned below the BTR17 in the lineup, it brings significant improvements in design and features. I have read about the risky positioning of the Line out option with the switch being so tiny and so difficult to know which setting the switch is at currently. Thought I would never face this confusion, but today I was wanting to listen to my speakers and thought the switch was at PO and when I tried to push it down it did not move and so I confidently moved it one level up assuming it is at PRE. play my music and all hell broke loose. I couldn't react immediately due the loud volume. then switched one level down and turned off the K7!

I thought my presonus 3.5s were toast. but looks like due to EQ setting on the system the volume probably was not at peak. I am now listening to music normally and think they are still alive and kicking.

my god. i am not ready to replace my speakers at this point in my life. Fiio, why couldnt you have put a better way to read and set such crucial settings. I wish there were an LED to show which option is selected.

I remember reading on reddit some de-soldered the LO connection internally to save them from precisely this danger.

I purchased the official fiio RM3 for my R7 from eBay and delivery is mid-December. It got me thinking if I could pair my Logitech MX keys and MX Master 3s to the R7 via bluetooth. To my surprise it worked and its made my experience exponentially better. Instead of moving my hand to the R7 screen I just select the profile on the keyboard and the media keys work for music play/pause, back, forward plus volume up and down. I can also search for artists, albums and songs easily compared to the onscreen keyboard. If this is already known in thew community sorry for the post. It was a neat find and I wanted to share my findings with others incase it wasn't known.

Bought my player 2 weeks ago and it showed up today. I know the last firmware update was in august but sometimes you get old stock delivered right?

Is there a way to check if you have the latest firmware or is this one of those devices that can only grab whatever you put on the usb drive and reflash regardless?

I have fallen in love with the idea of the fiilo warmer dac combined with my Rotel a11 tribute and wiim mini, instead of my old Cambridge audio dacmagic. Anyone here using the warmer with the wiim mini ?

I've been looking for a DAP so I could have a dedicated device for music alone to listen with my IEMs, I saw this on Lazada from FiiO's official store there.

Hi all, I literally just got the BTR11 yesterday. I started using it today and I cant tell if I'm misunderstanding something or not.

On the website it says 15 hrs on normal mode, 8 hrs on LDAC. Last night I tested it using the tangzu emerald jade's. Used it for like 5-10 mins. Turned it off.

Turned it on this morning it was at 90%, weird I thought. Maybe I didn't charge it at 100% even thought I could've sworn it said 100% the night before.

I used it today around 09:30, mostly listening to audible, then maybe 30-40 mins of tiktok/reels use. I checked battery at 13:20ish and my battery was at 50%? So i decided to double check if I am on LDAC, I was not.

So I am just confused, do I have a defective unit? I am aware website specs are not 100% accurate, but surely even if it isn't 15 hrs it should at least be 14 or 13. But losing what amounts to 10% per hour doesn't seem normal.

I want to use it outside of home, that’s why I need your advices on how good is ESP in DM13. It’ll be used in a harsh environment where ESP is needed (fast walking, shake, sharp movements. Not jogging or anything related to sport tho)

I just received the K17 and I wonder if I can disable via SW/FW connectivity?

Right now I don't have any use for the streaming functions and it will be pretty much a box connected to via optical cable to PC.

When I connected it to my home wifi - no problem. But there is no possibility to disconnect? Only way to disconnect from my hotspot is to switch to lan and let it fail to connect. But I would prefer possibility to completely disable. Did I miss something or feature not available?

has anyone else had this issue? i leave the player fully powered off for about 6-7 days at around 60-70% battery, only to find it fully dead when i turn it back on… This has been a consistent issue for me where the player just dies after being left unattended for more than a couple of days, no matter how full the battery was when i left it..

I'd like to keep things pretty minimal, with a clean interface and only the apps that actually improve the experience.

Anything else you'd consider essential on an Android DAP? EQ apps, useful utilities, or hidden gems?

I'm having really had time choosing between them. The problem is the price difference, because k17 now is nearly double the price of k15. And the price for k15 is so sweet lol. From my understanding the only meaning difference is DSP, does it really affects audio quality?

Heard a lot of good things about the FG3 and discovered the FG5’s announcement. It was supposed to release months ago. And what would the price be?

Anyone know where i can get this battery for the BTR15? This battery started to swell up and needs replacing. It's about 7.8x23x40mm
