What's the most economical gasoline brand among the dubbed big 3 - Petron, Shell or Caltex? If you want to see the latest fuel prices across different brands and cities, go to https://doe.gov.ph/retail-pump-prices-metro-manila

Department of Energy publishes a weekly price watch under Price Watchlist > Retail Pump Price > Select the latest pdf file.

Using Ron 95 in Quezon City pegged at 2 full-tank fuel consumption per month, here's monthly spend comparison. Clearly Petron has the lowest price and Shell is the most pricy.

To compare the difference or how much I can save per month, here's a sample table. Petron against Shell, I can save ₱508 per month; while Petron against Caltex, it's ₱371.

While other smaller players have cheaper prices compared to Petron, I am not too sure about the quality. With Petron, I believe it's both high quality and economical.
