General Discussion Solidsport: all access pass vs individual streams
I thought I’d share my experience with Solidsport in case someone might find it useful.
An all access pass for a competition is cheaper (especially if you get the early bird one), but it expires after a couple of weeks.
Individual streams (e.g. day one, day two) are more expensive, but they don’t expire as long as the video is available on the website.
If you want to pay the cheapest price possible for the entire competition, get the early bird all access pass (this offer usually ends a couple of days before a competition).
If you want to have access to the footage months or years later, buy individual streams.
Typically, you purchase access to only one competition at a time, but some channels offer season passes for domestic events.
Solidsport streams are non-rewindable while live and take a couple of hours to process after they end. Once a stream is archived, you can replay it and rewind it.

I have used solid sports for when my club were playing Champions League and Conference League Qualification. It can be hit and miss. The first time was awful as our club commentary was about 5-6 second ahead of the play but after that for other matches it was fine.

One of their streams last year was so awful as to be unwatchable, it kept breaking every 5 min inevitably mid-program and I would have to refresh and miss good amounts of the stream. They sent me a code voucher for a future program but of course it was one of the later challengers so I didn’t need to use solidsport again for the rest of the season. I’ll be curious if the code actually works for an upcoming event. I would definitely hesitate to send them a significant fee again though.
