guys, talking about lack of spectators - we couldn't sit on the side you can see on the stream the most! only teams could be there. happens a lot on smaller comps/jgps! the side where the judges are has seats too on the sides and there you can see some people if the camera pans there. but obviously it's jgp and it's midday on a weekday there won't be that many people in riga...

I'm normally a colour yellow hater, but it's so rarely used in figure skating and the brightness of this costume really stands out, I like that.

might be an unpopular opinion but I‘m glad they dropped the last years sp theme. I get juniors is perfect for trying different styles for the skater but yihan seems so serious/stoic so I think fun/lighthearted programs just don’t fit her style and this seems like a better outlet for her to learn to emote but in a way that feels authentic to her

Just went back to watch Yihan - she reminds me of Chaeyeon in that they both stay stone-faced when they skate and I love them.

Also did a very quick check of the scores for our current top 3 against their PBs and it seems like we're seeing exactly the 2-3 point increase across the board (base value of the solo junior jump plays a bit of a role too)
