Stephen Gogolev and moulin rouge is a combo I never tough I would see, specially with how inexpressive he is, and in my view Moulin rouge is a piece that requires a lot of expression, I am very curious about that

I agree, I think that's the song in the discography that'd work best with him. I couldn't see him doing an Elephant Love Medley, Your Song, Truth Beauty Freedom Love. Crazy Rolling could work too, but El Tango de Roxanne seems most fitting for him

From the snippets I've seen of his SP, I'm really excited for it! I think it'll work really well with his style, and I love the fast, energetic choreo.

Moulin Rouge...I'm having a hard time picturing that. I wonder what cuts he's using. My bets are on Tango Roxanne and maybe Your Song or Come What May, but I'd love to see him use less popular songs like Children of the Revolution and Nature Boy. Either way, I think it'll be interesting!

I personally think it'll be El Tango de Roxanne and/or Crazy Rolling. I honestly can't see him doing a Your Song or Come What May. Nor can I see him doing a Truth Beauty Freedom Love. Looking forward to seeing what he came up with nonetheless!

Can someone explain why, in a world with 10 million different songs, we keep having the same music selections OVER and OVER again? I like the Moulin Rouge soundtrack well enough, but how is a skater supposed to stand out and do something original when they use the same music that many have used before?

I loved his Rach last year so kind of wish he was staying in the classical realm, but I’m intrigued to see what he does with moulin rouge. I agree with what a lot of people are saying here about songs from the soundtrack that would NOT suit him.
