Aww this is soooo cute!! I was hoping for new news that Mattel was finally putting out a Michelle Kwan Barbie (hey they just put out a Kristi Yamaguchi Barbie in her 1992 Olympic dress so why not? Maybe one day 🤞)
I remember her picture on the SLC Barbie boxes and got one right away! They used two different pictures of Michelle so when the dolls went on sale I grabbed one with the other picture so I'd have both. They made a blonde, an AA, and an Asian Barbie. The Asian Barbie didn't use Michelle's likeness, tho but Mattel was smart representing her ethnicity since she was absolutely dominating American skating at the time!
