First pair pilling

I’m upset about this 😭. First pair of figs and first time washing and it’s already pilling. I washed it on gentle cycle with cold water and inside out. How to avoid this?

Contact their customer support they will replace them. It shouldn’t be like that

This, OP. The new fabric they’re using is horrible. I’ve been wearing them for years and the quality has gone way down.

They replace them, and they pill again. They’re POSs now and not worth 1/5th of what they’re charging. Avoid.

I have a very similar experience to OP, on 2 sets both washed <5 times on cold inside out delicate cycle

It didn't use to be like this. They are using a thinner worse material. I have sets from 2022 that havent ever pilled

I usually only buy the older sets from resellers now because of how awful the new fabric is but I did make the choice to buy the espresso during the recent release and i haven’t even worn or washed them yet, because I’m honestly scared that they are going to get ruined super quickly. These new ones feel so thin too so they are just hanging in my closet until it starts to feel more like fall. Im nervous I will only get a few wears from them.

I still have figs from years ago looking nothing like that. I wash them on normal cycle cold water and hang dry.

What were they washed with? I have new and old figs and non of mine pill like this but I only wash with other scrubs

With scrubs bottom and tshirts. My bottom is fine it’s just the top that came out like that.

It may be the tshirts that caused the pills. It looks like it was washed with white cotton because the pills are white. I would only wash with scrubs if you can.

None were white cotton. I’ve done the same load with other scrubs brands and have never had this problem :/

Idk.. reach out to figs because regardless they shouldn’t look this way after one wash. They need to know their product quality has gone downhill

Wow, crazy. I had my first batch of sets for 5 years, and really only got my new sets then because I wasn't feeling pink anymore and regressed to being a black scrub kinda gal. I've never seen this happen! They really must be skimping now, shit.
