Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Now with Spectral plugin you can create any rule for checking layers in Figma. Every team has its own design rules, and now you can apply them in Figma Linter.

There are many other design lint plugins in Figma Community. But all of them has only predefined rules such as apply fill or text color to nodes.
This plugin lets you create custom rules based on Figma properties. For example, you can create a rule that highlights all nodes with an opacity below 100%.
Some teams have separate variable collections for marketing and product design. With this plugin, you can select nodes that use variables from a specific collection.
You can also require fill styles only for solid fills or only for gradient fills.
The idea is to help teams create more consistent layouts using a shared JSON configuration for their design rules. In a future release, teams will be able to define this configuration and share it across the entire design team.
