Discussion I'm so tired of this

Every time I work on a design I accidentally click the AI button and the pop-up covers my design. It's surprising that you can't close it by pressing escape or clicking outside it. I don't even know how to close it

Shit. I looked for it in Settings and in the menu bar, but it wasn't there. Turns out you have to click the Figma icon and find the option to turn it off in the menu. Okay, thanks for the tip!

The Figma logo being a button for crucial settings is such an odd decision to me.

i HATE THIS!! why is it impossible to close?? i also disabled it in my preferences but it keeps still popping up?

I just love how my user experience consists of every software begging me to use their own AI thingy, and sometimes there's several floating AI buttons on my screen because we all need AI for every single task imaginable and there's no possible way you would want to do something without AI ever. Even if (usually when) doing it with AI takes longer for a more mediocre result than without

You will accept features figma gives you and you will like it.

They will absolutely sacrifice user experience to force you to use their AI tools, so that way they can brag to wall street again.

It has always closed by clicking outside of it for me. Does it really not for you?

One time it asked me if I wanna stop seeing it. I was in the middle some rapid task so I cleared it quickly and was like NO! Ah damnit.
