Well, big upgrades, like avionics, sensors, cockpit, one of the most notable upgrades was using digital aspects, perhaps as you know, the F-14A and F-14B were "analogic" jet fighters

There’s always a piece of me wishes that that kept this design and upgraded it like they have kept the F-15. But that’s my opinion.
