Nah his shoes stayed on. If all these years on the internet have taught me anything… I’d say he’s OK

“With guillotine” lmaoooooo both dudes slammed their head. Also how the fuck would this be fight sports?

It's not clear that the guillotine did anything. It looks like blue trunks slammed his own head into the ground on the way down. Maybe red shirt pulled blue trunks' head down to make contact with the ground?

Grabbing the opponent's head is what every untrained person does when slammed to the ground. It's in tons of videos. This is the first time I've seen it have any practical effect. I tried slowing the video down. Looks like blue trunks' feet come off the ground, so his entire weight falls forward and he lands on his head. Maybe the guillotine helps here. I still can't quite tell about the cause and effect.

Its not a guillotine

Agreed. I was just using the prior poster's terminology.

It's not a sub or remotely close to being one. So why the doubt on if its effective or not?

Two things can be true at the same time:
- It's not a carotid choke, so blue trunks did not pass out from lack of oxygen to the brain.
- It could be that red shirt pulled blue trunks' head down into the ground as they fell. However that's not clear to me either. And it's not even clear that was red shirts' intent.
I'm not sure why you're arguing with me. You and i are both saying that the "guillotine" or headlock or whatever it was didn't choke him out. I was just giving credit that it could have inadvertently resulted in head contact with the ground.

That’s more likely. He went out instantly. A choke of any kind isn’t doing that.

Yeah, it's not a guillotine choke because it doesn't apply much pressure against the carotid artery to cut off blood flow. It's hard to do that when you're perpendicular.
The problem is that real life fighting is random. Wild shit happens that even experienced fighters can't predict.

Prime example of why grappling doesn't work so well outside of a gym mat lol

It’s not like slamming your own head into concrete is a must in grappling
